      ABOOT THE WORK

The following work is an accumulation of dreams, personal experiences and  random satire.

The rough edges on which it has developed, clashes with the stubbornness and obsessive perfectionism of a neurotic personality.

Thus, a behemoth of accumulated gestures, images and material decisions are created. An expanding body rather than a fixed practice. Bringing together painting, textiles, photography and collaborative processes produce a terrain shaped by repetition, excess and return.

Images circulate across works, mutate and reappear. Wild and domestic life, tarot reading, flora, domestic fragments, mythic references and abstracted bodies are  but unstable presences that carry emotional weight, humour and contradiction.

The work resists resolution, favouring density over clarity and intimacy over explanation. Meaning is produced through saturation, proximity and friction.

Individual and collaborative works are treated as equal forces within this ecosystem. Collaboration is not supplementary but structural — a method for destabilising authorship, allowing contamination, interruption and shared authorship to become part of the visual language. The personal is then stretched, distorted and dispersed through collective making.

Materiality is central. Painted surfaces, stitched elements, layered textiles and photographic fragments register and emphasise human touch, labour and time. These materials carry traces of care, fatigue, repetition and repair, making it an intuitive and accumulative act. Acknowledging mess, vulnerability and excess as legitimate forms of  perceiving existence.

I want to produce a state of openness: An archive working as an altar without instruction and yielding a visual field where personal shite, inherited histories and shared mythologies coexist.

Viewers are invited  to decode, linger and navigate the work as a living system that keeps growing, reassembling and adapting: A symbiotic relationship that absorbs reality and creates images and objects that materialise a yearning desire to exist as well as my fascination with death sorcery and the spiritual world.
